Planning a cycling tour like this is very difficult. We have to plan ahead for future problems, should they arise. We wanted to make sure that we did not forget any vital gear along the way.

To do this we laid out our gear on a large grassy area so that we could visualize what we had.

Then we asked ourselves, "Would we need anything else if situation A occurred, or situation B?"

Our conclusion now is that we are prepared. If you're planning a trip like this, I recommend taking at least what we have here.
